6:28 pm

I guess it didn't last long............cat nap is all he needed!

5:30 pm

Okay, its 5:30 pm and we start a new sitter tomorrow. I did all I could to keep him up, but all of a sudden the house went silent. I looked down over my chair and this is what I found. This is not good for a schedule!

All Sippy Cups in These Parts

Did I mention that Jax is completely off the bottle. The day we came back from our visit, I decided it was time. Jax woke up that Friday morning and he never saw a bottle again. It has been a little over a week now and he is doing wonderfully!
The above picture is when I took the boys to Chucky Cheese, they had a fantastic time.

Laid Back...

Does this kid not have a care in the world or what? We got him a spider man chair, which he loves. We had a 2 yr old over the other night and it was the funniest thing to see Jax being very physical and vocal about him not wanting ANYONE in his chair. Caden, the 2yr old, wanted to watch a movie and of course the perfect spot was Jax's spider man chair. Jax was not havin' it, tried to pick the chair up from underneath Caden...when that didn't work, a series of tense grunts and "Nas" came out of our little guy. Nas is Jax's word for NO. This was my first intense lesson with Jax about sharing. He didn't go for it. He continued to have a problem with anything that Caden tried to play with and threw a few good grunts at me as well!

He will sit in his chair as long a Vegetails are on with his juice and snack. Only makes a sound when he accidently drops one of his goodies, and thats not very often. Our spill average is pretty good..only one spill per 2 Vegetail movies.

One hand in the bowl and the other at the mouth.

Yay! We found water!!!!!

Greg took the baby and I to a lake, which is about 25 minutes from the house. The Colorado City Lake, the natives no it as C-City Lake. I was just beside myself to see water, can we say SUPER HAPPY! It's $4 per person for a day and I am figuring I will spend quite a bit of time there.

Mood Gardens

I had the pleasure of taking all three boys to the Dinosaur exhibit at Moody Gardens. We got the Dino Package and had tons of fun.
I love the pic of just the boys. It totally shows their personalities.

My three little men!

First trip to the park...

Today I took the boys to Rainbow Park. This was Jax's first trip to the park. He absolutely loved it. He knew he was "the man". He loved the swing and thought it was hilarious when Jay swung from the monkey bars.

A day on the ferry...

Greg, the boys, and I went to Galveston today for Chance's appt at Shriners. All went well, he will have surgery on his foot on December 17. The dr said he will need full thickness grafting and possible pins put in his first three toes. That will be decided on the day of surgery. Chance is super excited about getting a rain check, he now gets to swim and go camping!

We took Jax for his first ferry ride. He loved it! He loves the wind in his face, the sea gulls flying above, and there were plenty of dolphins for the boys to enjoy.

Cupcake Cake!

Jax and Elmo

This is Jax's new Elmo chair, which he absolutely loves. He is such a big boy in this chair. He also got an Elmo vacuum, Elmo and Cookie Monster funny ball, tons of clothes, and much more.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JAX!!!

Well here it is, more than a month since I have posted. I am really going to try to do better.

Jax had a wonderful birthday filled with water fun, silly string, and cupcake cake. He had a wonderful turnout with plenty of family and friends, for whom we are truly thankful for. Here are a few pics of our fun filled day.

My children are so SUPER smart!

Not to mention that Jay is in GT courses, but
Chance received honorable mention on his reading part of his TAKS exam. He only missed one question on the whole exam. Standard grade is 2100. Chance exceeded the commended performance scale score of 2400. He made a 2487 out of 2616. He takes the math portion next month.

Just thought I would boast a little about my gifted and talented, honorable and commendable children.......
