First Baseball Game

3/23/06
We had our first baseball and t-ball games this weekend. They boy seemed to enjoy them. Chance is playing catcher, and as long as we can keep Jay from sitting down on the field picking dirt out of his glove, he plays where ever. I thought it was interesting to see the boys had the same exact colors for their teams. I patiently waited to see the other teams colors before I figured the odds. : )

This is Jay sitting DURING the game.

Big Spring in March

Okay, so last night it was 26'. How often do you see frost in March, March 24th at that? We were at baseball practice last night and all the parents had on scarfs, gloves, three jackets, and ear muffs. Doesn't that sound like football weather? LUCKILY, I finally talked Greg into not opening the window to go to sleep. Ever since we were down in TC for Spring Break, and Greg was alone for a few nights, he picked up this habit of sleeping with a window open every night. We only have three comforters on our bed and a two fans blowing in our faces every night, of course we need 20 degree gusts of wind added to the mix. : )

Day at the Dike

One of the things the boys could not live without doing was crabbing while we were down. Jay just can not entertain the fact that there is no BEACH in Big Spring. We are working through it. Chance had a great time exploring the area while brother caught most of the crabs. Included in Chance's treasure was some type of jaw bones. The jury is still out on what they are.

Our Anniversary

Yea! Our first anniversary, and we have done soo much. I wonder what the upcoming year has in store?

Awards Assembly

Both the boys were on the "A" honor roll this six weeks. Chanseler was the only one in his class! We are very proud of them. They have started baseball and are extremely happy about it. Chance also begins Cub scouts this week. We are happily staying very busy! We wouldn't have it any other way...

Trip to Moody Gardens

The boys had a great time at Moody Gardens. We went with Jennifer and her little girl, Taylor. The trip was complete with the 4-D experience of Sponge Bob Sqarepants and the missing crabby patty. Very exciting to say the least.
