Tuesdays and Thursdays have proven to be our busiest nights of the week. Chance and Jay have their practices and Greg has now began playing on the BSFD softball league. His softball league has games every Tues. and Thurs. at 8pm. Chance and Jay have games every Saturday. They might have have their games staggered but unfortunately this Saturday they are not. This Saturday we have pics for Jay at 11am, pics for Chance at 1:15pm, and both their games start at 2pm (and they play across town at seperate fields). Joy!
Here are a few pics of the evenings festivities. We had an assembly for the Cowboy Kindergarteners at 6pm, we had batting practice for Chance at 6pm, and Gregs game at 8pm. We somehow managed to get hot dogs and homework done prior to our running around. I think everyone in the house is enjoying staying busy. We are finally getting into a routine in Big Spring, YEA!
I have experienced the hierarchy of Big Spring. I have the prestigious moms of the preschool aged children on Jay's team and the complete opposite on Chance's. Apparently, according to the preschool moms, BSISD is not the best place to send your child to school.
"You know, you don't know what you are getting with the public school system anymore"
"There is just too much diversity" I wonder what they would think of Galveston County? Alot of the parents have decided to drive to Midland every morning and afternoon to send their children to a private school which involves Classical Education. Sounds interesting, just not sure if I am that committed to "protecting" my childrens awareness of the real world.

You are probably forever going to remember your first few months in Big Spings, if only because they were the calmest time in either of your lives :) I'm totally into the Big Springs women though, haha. You are going to have to keep me posted on diversity issues!!
