We had a quiet weekend. Our Friday night outing included walking the isles of Wal-Mart (the major attraction of Big Spring) and since our night was clearly entertaining I felt compelled to say yes to going to Midland and touring the major department stores (i.e. Lowes, Target, Sams, Wal-mart again). Greg even talked me into taking the baby to THE MALL. Those who know me will understand how much outside my comfort level this was for the baby. Even though I had every open area around him surrounded by receiving blankets as if they were a shield or respiratory mask against all the infectious bacteria waiting to get their grubby littly hands on my son. Greg thought I was crazy, as usual, but hey it made me feel better so he went along with it. All in all my son come through the trip unscathed and literally never awoke through the whole process.
By the way, I think my little conversation I had with Jax at the wee hours of the morning paid off. We have an understanding now and that was the first and so far the last COMPLETELY sleepless night. We still are getting up every 3 hrs on the dot. After the 11 o'clock feeding we woke up at 2:19am and 5:19am. He is very timely (he must get that from his dad).......... : )
He loves his swing......thanks Jenn!

He is SOOOOO sweet! I'm glad he survived a trip the mall :) That's Baby 101 right? Summer trips to the mall so mom can see the rest of the world when it's too hot for the baby to do anything else...
Congratulations on having successfully explained your scheduling expectations as well, haha. Go Jax!
